Tarri Driver: artist, author, illustrator

I’m a lifelong creative artist with a wide range of independent, academic, professional and therapeutic arts experience. My decade of work as an art therapist along with my experience teaching inform both my worldview and my art. Since relocating from Nashville to a small town in East Tennessee, I have retired from my career as an art therapist and re-embraced artmaking from my home studio, where I write, illustrate, publish original work, design commissions and devise new creative projects. Curiosity is my main motivator, and through my artmaking, I hope to make some sense of the world while I defiantly pursue truth, provoke thoughtful reflection and cultivate empathy.

My fictional short stories have appeared in issues of Wising Up Press (print only and now defunct,) Tiny Spoon (print only,) Quarter(ly) (print only,) 5 on the Fifth, Literally Stories, Commuter Lit, Blood and Bourbon (print only) and Dirt Freckles Literary Magazine. Forthcoming works and publications include a short story in Once Upon a Crocodile (late 2027), the third children’s book in my Lunar Mooner Lula series and a book of illustrated short stories for adults.
